Partners of Pawthereum

Thank you to our partners

Pawthereum partners closely with animal welfare organizations as well as other groups and communities committed to unlocking the power of charitable crypto giving. By working together, we all accelerate the mission of saving more animals around the world.

Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home

Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home has been operating in their city since 1883, working in partnership with local authorities and police services by welcoming lost, stray and abandoned pets from all corners of Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Their success rate in reuniting lost dogs and cats with their owners is around 70%, meaning that happy endings are common. When an owner cannot be found after seven days, their rehoming process kicks in. They have an open-intake policy, accepting any dog or cat that reaches their door in need, whatever shape, breed or size they may be.

Edinburgh Home has been a very special partner and friend of Pawthereum, and we look forward to working with them often in the future. On November 15th, 2021 Pawthereum processed a $116,000 donation to cover the full 2022 operational budget of EDCH’s Paws Pantry Food Bank program. For more info on this donation, click here.

PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society)

Since 1967, PAWS has united more than 130,000 cats and dogs with loving families, and has cared for more than 140,000 sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. Located in the Pacific Northwest, they work to make the world a better place for wild animals, pets, and pet owners through outreach, education and advocacy.

PAWS operates three animal care facilities: the PAWS Companions Animal Shelter, PAWS Cat City, and the PAWS Wildlife Center. They are currently in the process of building a new 25-acre Wildlife Center that can match their high standard of care. This facility will allow PAWS to better respond to each animal species’ unique needs enabling them to heal and return to the wild more quickly

Pawthereum is proud to partner with PAWS to help save more animals. Our donation of $100,000 on November 21, 2021 will help fund the creation of their new Wildlife Center. “The Pawthereum Small Mammals Room” will see thousands of animals pass through its doors, and we hope that members of our community are able to visit the room and feel our real world impact for many years to come.

Four Paws International

FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organization for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need, and protects them.

FOUR PAWS’ sustainable campaigns and projects focus on companion animals including stray dogs and cats, farm animals, and wild animals – such as bears, big cats, and orangutans – kept in inappropriate conditions, as well as animals in disasters and conflict zones.

Pawthereum partnered up with them for Giving Tuesday 2021. Our matching donation of $50k helped fund expansions to dog rescues in Cambodia helping prevent dogs from being used as food and educating the local population about the importance of valuing dogs as pets and companions.
